  BACKSTORY  

Cassie is a Chao Ranger and an avid historian, journeying far from her village in Chun-Nan to discover the secrets of the Chao and how they came to be. From her love for Chao came her interest in the Chaos Emeralds, and the Master Emerald shrine that housed them in the past. After learning of the place the Echidna tribes that fought over the Emeralds long ago, and the daughter of the clan leader that tried to protect the Chao, Cassie travelled to the Mystic Ruins and Angel Island, with the hope that she can learn more of the history of the Chao and the mysterious girl who sacrificed herself to seal the god of chaos itself...


   PERSONALITY   

Cassie is an ambitious, headstrong and benevolent panda that doesn't let challenges frighten her. Whilst she is brave and has explored almost all of the world, Cassie is still quite naive and oblivious to evil: which may be a result of how absorbed she is in her own imagination. This proves itself to be a weakness when she is often exploited by the people she meets: mainly because she cannot say no to helping a person in need.


  CHAO RANGER  

Her job as a Chao Ranger means that she breeds and raises many Chao, much like a safari park ranger. Her mother and father owned a large Chao Garden in her hometown, which is most likely the reason Cassie grew to love Chao so much. She was heartbroken when she had to leave her beloved Chao behind to explore the world, but fortunately has founded her own in the Mystic Ruins, where she currently resides.


 ABILITIES/SKILLS 

Since she is a Power type, strength is her key asset, being able to dislodge boulders with relative ease. Being the avid explorer she is, she doesn't find it difficult to scale great heights, climbing up cliff-sides and mountains for the sake of discovering something new. As a part of her job as a ranger, Cassie has to harvest fruit from trees for the Chao, and mastered the use of a whip to quickly knock down the fruit, but has since used it on her adventures. 


 TRIVIA 

Cassie's real name, Cassia, is the scientific name for Chinese cinnamon.
